may be wonder how to go about finding the right shower curtain for
your bathroom. I can tell you from experience that finding the right
shower curtain can be very difficult. I was quite lucky when I found
my latest shower curtain at a flea market.
I certainly wasn’t looking for a shower curtain at that flea
market, but there it was – my beautiful retro vinyl shower
curtain with giant rubber ducks on it. I certainly never expected
to fall in love with such an eccentric shower curtain -- in fact,
my last shower curtain was a basic white one, and I had loved it,
too.
I think that maybe my new tastes in shower curtains may have something
to do with having children. Now that I have children, I just never
see anything the same as I used to. For instance, if I see a plain
white shower curtain now, I do not think about its simple elegance.
I think instead about how easily my little girl could get it dirty.
A white shower curtain with tiny handprints all over it loses much
of that elegance.
Also, having children has actually made me more of a “fun”
person. Well, at least my friends tell me so. I’ve begun to
fall in love with things that I never would have before –
rubber ducks, for instance. I now have rubber ducks not just on
my shower curtain, but all over the bathroom. I even managed to
find a yellow rubber duck bath mat and soap dish.
While you’re finding the right shower curtain for your bathroom,
you can be like me, and find the right shower curtain first and
then build a bathroom around it. Or it might be best for you to
think of what your bathroom already looks like and then try to find
a great shower curtain based off of that.
The shower curtain is one of the most important “pieces”
of your bathroom. It is certainly big enough. If you’re getting
tired of how your bathroom looks, one of the simplest things you
can do is change your shower curtain. Of course, the trick is finding
the right shower curtain for your bathroom.
